Women’s Health promotion has been one of the key components for development. Under the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) it is even more important in SDG3 and SDG5, with other Goals and Targets.
In the Symposium, Dr M. Were presents Women’s Health issues in African context as keynote, with other CSO high level experts presentations on SRH/RR, MMR, feminization of AIDS, and Empowerment of Women. The key objective is to analyze good practices for how to tackle the issues, and to propose approaches and policies in African region.
The First Ladies from Kenya and Japan may address these issues when available. Organizer is Our SDGs (Japanese network of academic circles and CSOs) with IPPF, University of Nagasaki, Civic Commission for Africa, AMREF, and JICA.
